Craig West
Senior Managing Director
As a 24-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Craig West, Senior Managing Director, has originated over $13 billion in transactions throughout his career. Mr. West has 20 years’ experience in the direct origination of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Life Insurance multifamily mortgage loans and he is responsible for multifamily originations through Walker & Dunlop’s Agency lending programs.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. West served as managing director at CWCapital LLC and as senior vice president within the Agency Lending Group of Credit Suisse subsidiary, Column Guaranteed.
Mr. West has served on numerous advisory councils; he currently sits on the Board of Directors of National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and is a trustee on the Board of Directors of Homes Fit for Heroes. He is also partnered with Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center and is a Florida State University Legacy Hall member.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Mr. West was a certified public accountant and senior tax consultant with Ernst & Young. Mr. West holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
