Alex Inman
Senior Managing Director
Alex Inman is a senior managing director of Multifamily Finance at Walker & Dunlop, based in Dallas, Texas. In his role, he is responsible for originating new loans and arranging JV equity out of the Dallas office. Since he began at W&D in 2009, Mr. Inman has arranged over $10.6 billion in financing from various capital sources such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA HUD, CMBS, banks, and life companies. Throughout his career, he has financed more than 100,000 multifamily housing units across the United States, specializing in agency lending (GSE & FHA), capital markets, debt and structured finance, debt advisory, and equity placement.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Inman was a mortgage broker at Marcus & Millichap, where he was responsible for originating loans and structuring debt and equity across all major property types operating out of the Dallas office.
Mr. Inman earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He has pursued his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certification, has previously held a real estate salesperson license in Texas, and is a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission. Outside of Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Inman is an avid golfer and a voracious reader who enjoys family time with his wife and three children. He also serves on the Board of the Jonthan’s Place – a non-profit Emergency Shelter in Dallas, TX.
