Livingston Hessam
Senior Director
Livingston Hessam is a Senior Director on the Capital Markets team with an emphasis on the Southeast region. In his role, he is responsible for sourcing & origination, analysis, and placement of real estate debt and equity capital through an asset’s life cycle and investment period. Mr. Hessam’s 18+ years of capital markets, lending, and debt & structured finance experience includes customized financing solutions to developers, owners, and operators of commercial real estate properties across the United States. In addition to agency, bank, life company & debt fund executions, Mr. Hessam is well-versed within FHA/HUD financing — from new development through refinance.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Hessam was an associate director at MetLife Real Estate Investors, where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and structuring high-quality commercial loans with a focus on Florida and Puerto Rico markets. During his career, Mr. Hessam has jointly and individually closed in excess of $2 billion of loan volume.
