Ryan Moore
Senior Director
Senior Director Ryan Moore is responsible for the nationwide origination of new multifamily and healthcare loans through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Mr. Moore has nearly 20 years of industry experience and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. He has significant experience in structuring financing for market-rate properties as well as complex affordable transactions involving low income housing tax credits (LIHTC), Section 8, and tax-exempt bonds.
Previously, Mr. Moore served as Deputy Chief Underwriter for Walker & Dunlop’s FHA-focused finance group. In this role, he managed the underwriting, credit review, and due diligence process for FHA/HUD multifamily and healthcare loans. He has underwritten and closed more than 60 loans totaling over $800 million in FHA-insured mortgages. Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Moore was a market analyst and appraiser for almost 10 years and specialized in HUD MAP/FHA market studies and appraisals. During that time, he managed or performed market studies and appraisals on over 700 assignments nationwide for a variety of multifamily- and healthcare-related product types.
Mr. Moore is an FHA MAP Approved Underwriter, an FHA Lean Approved Underwriter and holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
