Marcus Espinoza
Senior Director, Apprise
Marcus Espinoza is a senior director at Apprise by Walker & Dunlop, based in Irvine, California. In his role, he is responsible for appraisals and consultations for financial institutions, governmental agencies, developers, individual and corporate property owners, and attorneys, among others. A major portion of his production involves Agency work for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as well as Valuation for Financial Reporting. Bringing over 25 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Espinoza has a broad depth of knowledge and expertise across all sectors of real estate.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, he was a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield. Before that, he served as a vice president at CBRE. In these roles, he gained experience in the valuation of fractional ownership interests, including interests in limited liability companies (LLCs), limited partnerships (LPs), Subchapter S corporations, and tenant-in-common (TIC) interests.
Mr. Espinoza earned his bachelor’s degree in business finance and real estate law from California State University, Long Beach, College of Business. He is certified by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and holds CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), MAI, and SRA certifications.
