Kislaya Sinha
Associate Director, Affordable Investment Sales
Kislaya Sinha is an associate director of Affordable Investment Sales at Walker & Dunlop, based in South Carolina. In his role, he supports the affordable investment sales analytical efforts and the implementation of the Affordable Advisory services group, specializing in project-based Section 42, Section 8, and USDA Rural Development asset transactions nationwide. He brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience with a broad institutional perspective, and has experience in managing large loan underwriting, due diligence, closing, and exit strategies.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Sinha served as a director of commercial lending at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA). In this role, he focused on the origination, underwriting, and closing of all commercial, multifamily, and small business loans, as well as overseeing the allocation and administration of the Federal and State Low Income Housing Tax Credit programs.
Mr. Sinha earned his master’s degree in real estate finance and investment from New York University, and his master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University. He has also completed international bank credit training and holds several professional designations, including CCIM, CPM, LEED Green Associate, and Argus ASC.
