Gene Klark
Senior Vice President of Acquisitions
Gene Klark is the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Alliant Strategic Investments, a Walker & Dunlop Company. In his role, Mr. Klark is responsible for sourcing and identifying new investment opportunities, leading purchase agreements and contract negotiations, and overseeing the Acquisitions group, which conducts the due diligence review and closing of investments. He brings over 25 years of experience in affordable and market-rate multifamily housing to Alliant.
Prior to Alliant Strategic Investments, Mr. Klark held previous positions with national tax credit and private equity firms where he was responsible for overseeing acquisitions of workforce housing assets, negotiating deal terms on new acquisitions and joint ventures, and overseeing the due diligence review.
Mr. Klark earned his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School, master’s in business administration from Chapman University, Bachelor of Science from the Ohio State University, and the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation from the CCIM Institute.
