Frank Sciara
Managing Director
Frank is a Managing Director on the Capital Markets team based in Kansas City, MO. In his role, he is responsible for the origination, structuring, and sourcing of debt and equity capital for income-producing real estate across the United States and includes all aspects of credit, underwriting, loan negotiation, and portfolio management. Mr. Sciara brings over 20 years of investment banking and real estate finance experience to Walker & Dunlop. He has been involved in the origination, structuring, and financing of more than $1.0 billion in transactions of all types of income-producing real estate, including multifamily (market rate, affordable, senior, and student), industrial, office, retail, self-storage, and hospitality.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Sciara worked as a vice president at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, where he was responsible for originating commercial and multifamily loans and sourcing equity for real estate transactions. Before joining Grandbridge, Mr. Sciara worked with George K. Baum & Company, an investment banking firm based in Kansas City, where he was part of the merger, acquisition, and advisory team.
Mr. Sciara earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Kansas. He then earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2010. Mr. Sciara has also served on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Chapter of CCIM since 2013 and was the 2020 Chapter President.
