Corey Cooper
SVP of Servicing, HUD Loan Administration & Asset Management
Corey Cooper is the Senior Vice President of HUD Servicing at Walker & Dunlop. In her role, she oversees a team of 18, and is responsible for all aspects of loan servicing and asset management across a portfolio of over $10B across 1000+ loans. She brings over 20 years of experience in commercial mortgage banking to Walker & Dunlop along with a deep understanding of FHA multifamily and healthcare programs.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Cooper worked as a Managing Director of Multifamily Capital Markets for Newmark where she oversaw Production Operations. Before that, she served as the Vice President at Draper and Kramer, as an originator specializing in all aspects of FHA-insured transactions throughout the U.S. She also gained experience as the Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., as the head of the closing, construction loan servicing, and HUD correspondent lending. Ms. Cooper began her career as associate counsel at Talbott & Associates working with HUD lenders throughout the U.S.
Ms. Cooper earned her LL.B from Queen Mary University of London and her LL.M from William & Mary Law School. She is licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
