Mike Lee
Senior Director
Mike Lee, Senior Director, is responsible for financing income-producing properties including office, apartments, hotels, industrial, and retail in the Midwest region. Mr. Lee has a deep understanding of the origination, structuring, placement, and closing of a variety of product types including office, industrial, retail, hotel, conventional apartments, affordable housing, and seniors housing. Capital structures he has closed include permanent financing (both immediate and forward commitments), bridge financing, mezzanine financing, and equity placement. During his career, Mr. Lee has jointly and individually closed in excess of $1.0 billion of loan volume.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop in 2012, Mr. Lee was vice president and co-office manager of the Madison, Wisconsin office at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital. Previously, Mr. Lee was a vice president with Collateral Mortgage Capital and prior to joining Collateral, Mr. Lee held positions at L.J. Melody & Company in Houston, Texas and Eberhardt Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate and urban land economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA), the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA), and an affiliate member of the Commercial Association of Realtors. Mr. Lee is an Evans Scholar Alumni and Director of Western Golf Association (host of the Western Junior, Western Amateur, BMW Championship, and the organization that administers the Evans Scholarship).
