Walker & Dunlop Hires Leading Washington D.C. Capital Markets Broker

Bethesda, Maryland – May 17, 2017

Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (NYSE: WD) (the “Company”) announced that it has hired Jamie Butler as managing director in its Capital Markets group. Based out of the Company’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, Mr. Butler is responsible for sourcing equity and debt for development projects and stabilized assets across all property types, with a focus in the Mid-Atlantic region. Throughout his career, Mr. Butler has arranged financing for commercial real estate transactions totaling over $10 billion.

He was previously vice president in the Capital Markets group at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley). Mr. Butler has received numerous industry recognitions and consistently ranks among the top producers in the region by the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association.
