Zach Chenault
Director, Affordable Investment Sales
Zach Chenault is a director of Investment Sales within Walker & Dunlop's Affordable Housing Platform. Based in Denver, Colorado Mr. Chenault specializes in Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Project-Based Section 8 valuation, advisory, and sales nationwide.
Prior to his current role at Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Chenault was director of transactions at Greystone & Co. where he was responsible for overseeing all transactions within the Affordable Investments Sales platform. Before that, he gained experience as an acquisitions manager at Cambridge Housing Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing, acquiring and substantially rehabilitating existing Project-Based Section 8 assets nationally with LIHTC financing.
Mr. Chenault earned his bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish from Bowdoin College, and his master’s degree in real estate from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
