Skye Stansbury
Associate Director
Skye Stansbury, Associate Director in Walker & Dunlop’s D.C.-based Debt and Structured Finance team, is based out of the company’s Bethesda, MD office. Ms. Stansbury is responsible for financing income-producing multifamily properties throughout the U.S. Since joining the company in 2017, Skye has been directly involved in arranging +$9.2B in financing for more than 400 properties. In addition to conventional multifamily, Ms. Stansbury focuses on Affordable, manufactured, and student housing across both one-off executions and large structured and portfolio transactions. Prior to her current role, she held roles in Asset Management at Walker & Dunlop, where she handled financial analysis, site inspections, and post-closing needs for W&D’s servicing portfolio.
Ms. Stansbury received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
Beyond the company, Ms. Stansbury is a Supervisor for the Don Bosco Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study Program – earning Maryland Regional Supervisor of the Year in 2023 – and has served as a Project Destined recurring mentor. She is also a member of several industry associations, including Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), and serves on the Fannie Mae DUS DEI Marketing subcommittee.
