Matthew Breiner
SVP, Construction - Affordable Housing
Matt Breiner is a senior vice president of Affordable Housing Construction. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing the Affordable (Previously Alliant) Construction Department, including pre-closing underwriting and risk management of all syndicated and non-syndicated new development, rehabilitation, and adaptive re-use projects. Additionally, he is responsible for construction risk management, construction quality control, investor reporting on construction timing and budget performance, and management of capital improvement projects for stabilized properties.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Breiner worked at his own firm, Oro Vista Corp, where he provided real estate brokerage, due diligence, entitlement, and project management consulting services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Before that, he was a vice president of land acquisition at John Laing Homes.
Mr. Breiner earned his bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame University.
