Matt Restivo
Senior Director
Matt Restivo is a Senior Director of Multifamily Finance at Walker & Dunlop. In his role, he is responsible for nationwide new loan originations and is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Boston, Massachusetts office. Mr. Restivo specializes in conventional multifamily, manufactured housing, student housing, and structured loans sourced primarily through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the company’s proprietary bridge lending program
Mr. Restivo joined Walker & Dunlop in 2014 as an analyst in the servicing department, where he was responsible for managing a $3 billion portfolio. In 2016, Mr. Restivo transitioned into a production analyst role and has since held several positions within the real estate finance department of Walker & Dunlop. Throughout his career, Mr. Restivo has participated in the origination and underwriting of over $7 billion in loan volume across more than 500 mortgage loans, with significant experience in conventional multifamily, manufactured housing, and student housing.
Mr. Restivo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in legal studies and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and continued his education at Boston University, obtaining a graduate certificate in real estate finance. Beyond the company, Mr. Restivo is involved in the Emerging Leaders Committee of Boston’s Real Estate Finance Association.
