Betsy Blau
Associate Director, Affordable Production
Betsy Blau is an associate director of Affordable Production at Walker & Dunlop, based in Des Moines, Iowa. In her role, she is responsible for financing conventional and affordable multifamily, healthcare, student housing, and other income-producing commercial real estate assets throughout the country.
Prior to Walker & Dunlop, Ms. Blau served as a senior production analyst and assistant vice president of production at Colliers Mortgage/Dougherty Mortgage. Over the past decade, Ms. Blau has worked on teams that have originated and closed commercial loans for assets in excess of $1.5 billion.
Ms. Blau earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa and her master’s degree in business analytics from Iowa State University. Additionally, Ms. Blau is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW).
