Greg Richardson is a managing director of Capital Markets | Real Estate Finance at Walker & Dunlop and is based in Irvine, California. In this role, Richardson is responsible for originating commercial financing opportunities nationwide across multiple property types, including multifamily, retail, industrial, and office assets. Throughout his career, he has closed more than $6 billion in commercial debt and equity transactions.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Richardson served as a managing director at Johnson Capital, which was later acquired by Walker & Dunlop. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president at City National Bank, where he focused on commercial and construction lending for Southern California clients.
Richardson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in real estate finance from the University of Southern California. He serves on the board of the USC Lusk School of Real Estate, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is a licensed real estate broker in California.
